Giving Tuesday

Greetings to members and friends of the Brandy Station Foundation!

November 28th is Giving Tuesday. The Brandy Station Foundation is an all-volunteer 501(c)-3 non-profit organization. The Brandy Station Foundation has been instrumental in the preservation of significant tracts of land related to the Battle of Brandy Station (June 9, 1863) and Kelly's Ford (March 17, 1863). We appreciate your support of our preservation mission, including the preservation of the Graffiti House.

Our Foundation's goal is to raise $17,000 to pay for a new coat of paint for the exterior of the Graffiti House. Please consider helping the Foundation with this project to maintain the Graffiti House. Below you can see the current condition of the house.

Thank you for your support of the Brandy Station Foundation! Howard Lambert President, Brandy Station Foundation

More About Us

In 2002, the Brandy Station Foundation purchased the Graffiti House, a two-story structure located at 19484 Brandy Road in Brandy Station. The Civil War-era Graffiti House is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The walls, primarily on the second floor, contain drawings, messages, and signatures of Civil War soldiers, both Union and Confederate, hence the name "Graffiti House." A museum is on the first floor of the building. We are proud to be a foundation that promotes the Graffiti House as a neutral witness to history. Tours of the Graffiti House as well as Battle of Brandy Station battlefield tours are available thanks to volunteers.
